About Us the team history


Where Were You in 1981?

We were just starting out.

Originally created as a voice productions company, RC Productions has grown into a comprehensive advertising powerhouse with two divisions and over 35 employees. Together with our strategic partners, we serve clients across the United States. The growth of our company has been firmly supported by a great team of people who embody the vision instituted by Randy Crow, our president and founder.


RC Productions formed as a Voice Production
Company for radio and television commercials.


RC Productions added media planning and
client assistants for budget planning.


Randy Crow borrowed money against his
car to buy the coupon clipper.


RC Productions leased a 1,200 sq. ft. office
space at 752 W. Pine – Downtown Muskegon.


RC developed a vendor billboard / radio program
that was picked up by supermarkets in many cities.


Randy Crow purchased a 3,000 sq. ft. building
on Lakeshore Drive in Muskegon.


Tim Achterhoff and Mark Schultz join the RC team
and West Michigan’s first digital studio is added.


Jim Freed joins staff, developed logo and launched
a new division called Source One Signs.


Purchased an Electrostatic Printer and Laminator,
entering them into the new world of printing.


RC added a second addition to the
building on Lakeshore Drive.


Graphics department is staffed with the
latest technology and five designers.


RC added complete in-house
video production studio.


RC expands the creative center and adds
additional account managers.


RC Productions reaches a 25-year
milestone and announces a new look.
